GDPR / Data Protection Compliance
conversys.io
Our Commitment
At Conversys, we take your privacy seriously. We fully understand the requirements set by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related data protection laws. We have reviewed and continuously update our policies, procedures, and systems to ensure full compliance with GDPR and best practices in data protection.
Your Rights Over Your Personal Data
If you are located in the EU (or any region where GDPR or similar law applies), you have rights regarding your personal information. These include:
Right of Access
You may request access to the personal information that we process about you, along with information about how and why it is used, who it is shared with, and how long we retain it.
Right of Rectification
If any data we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, you may ask us to correct or update it.
Right of Erasure ("Right to be forgotten")
You may ask us to delete your data in many cases—provided there is no legal or business reason to keep it (for example for contracts, legal obligations, or dispute resolution).
Right to Restrict Processing
You can request that we limit the processing of your personal data under certain conditions (for instance if accuracy is contested, or processing is unlawful).
Right to Data Portability
You may ask that the personal data you provided be transferred to you or to another service provider, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, where technically feasible.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us by using the Contact page; include enough detail to identify yourself and the data or processing you are querying.
Retention Period & Data Minimization
We only keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. After that, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
As a guideline, our standard retention period is five years following the conclusion of the relevant processing activity (contracts, transactions, or service delivery), unless there's a requirement to retain it for longer under law or for ongoing legitimate purposes (e.g. supporting legal claims, compliance).
Opt-Out & Profile Control
If you want us to stop using or disclosing your profile information (or "business profile" data) to clients, vendors, or third parties, you can opt out by emailing us using the Contact page.
Please note that public or web-sourced information might occasionally be re-collected or appear in public sources outside of our control, even after removal.
You may also check and update your profile information via your account or contact us to ensure that only data you have agreed to share is being used.
Handling Complaints
If you believe that we are not processing your personal data in accordance with applicable law, please do contact us first using our Contact page.
If you are still dissatisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection regulator (for example, the relevant supervisory authority in your EU country).
Secure Data Processes & Accountability
We maintain rigorous internal policies for data protection, reviewing our contracts, data flows, and third-party processors to ensure they meet GDPR standards.
Staff training, secure infrastructure, and regular audits are part of our commitment to keep your data safe.
Updates to This Compliance Statement
We may update this Data Protection Compliance Statement to reflect legal changes, operational improvements, or new best practices. We will publish any changes here on the website.
